Women's Abortion Rights Scotland was set up October 2007 as a campaigning focus for women and men in Scotland concerned by the attacks on the right to abortion. We are cross-party and welcome all individuals of faith or no faith who support the right to abortion.

Last year marked the 40th anniversary of the Abortion Act and yet women's right to access safe and legal abortions have never been more under attack.
Currently the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill is going through the Houses of Parliament. Anti-choice organisations and representatives are intending to use this Bill as a way of restricting women’s access to abortion services.
